Today is our 13th wedding anniversary.
I never met a man quite like you
Doing all he can, making my dreams come true

These words played as he twirled me on the all white dance floor on our wedding day. I had no idea how many dreams of mine he would make come true. The business we would build. The babies we would hold. The prayers we would see answered. The roads we would walk. He literally is doing all he can to make our dreams come true. He’s a man of integrity, hard-working and selfless. He makes me laugh constantly. He calms my anxious heart. He makes jokes to lighten the mood. He stretches me to be more flexible. He takes care of me. He loves me so well. I’ve written a million Little Love Stories about him, about our life together and what brought us here, but it never gets old to me – remembering that God gave me the most incredible person to go through life with.
Can you guess what I’m thankful for today? It’s my Jakie. He really is the perfect man for me.
